IT-COMM – Italian Commerce Association
Effective Date: November 4, 2026
The Italian Commerce Association ("IT-COMM," "we," "us," or "the Association") collects information, content, photographs, and other materials voluntarily submitted by members, businesses, partners, and other individuals (collectively, "Submitted Materials").
This Consent Policy explains how IT-COMM may use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and share Submitted Materials for its institutional, informational, editorial, and promotional activities.
By voluntarily selecting the consent checkbox and submitting the corresponding form, the individual or authorized representative ("Contributor") expressly grants IT-COMM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, edit, format, and adapt the Submitted Materials for purposes related to the Association's mission, programs, events, and activities.
This permission includes, without limitation, use in:
IT-COMM newsletters and email communications;
Annual reports, yearbooks, and institutional publications;
IT-COMM websites and online directories;
Social media platforms and digital communications;
Marketing, promotional, and informational materials;
Event announcements, presentations, and press releases;
Printed publications, brochures, and other Association communications.
IT-COMM may use the Submitted Materials in their entirety or in part and may make reasonable editorial changes for clarity, formatting, length, and presentation, provided such changes do not materially misrepresent the Contributor or the original content.
The Contributor retains ownership of any intellectual property rights they hold in the Submitted Materials.
By granting consent, the Contributor represents that:
They are authorized to submit the information and materials provided.
They own or have obtained the necessary rights and permissions to authorize the intended uses.
Their submission does not knowingly infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of third parties.
Where the submission includes personal information or identifiable images of other individuals, the Contributor has obtained any necessary permissions for the intended publication.
The Contributor acknowledges that Submitted Materials may be made publicly accessible through IT-COMM's publications, websites, social media accounts, and other communication channels.
Such materials may be viewed, shared, indexed, archived, or redistributed by third parties beyond IT-COMM's direct control.
IT-COMM may determine the timing, format, placement, and frequency of publication at its discretion, consistent with the purposes described in this Policy.
IT-COMM is not obligated to publish any Submitted Materials.
The Contributor grants this permission voluntarily and without expectation of payment, royalties, or other compensation.
Unless separately agreed in writing, publication or use of Submitted Materials does not create any employment, contractual, sponsorship, or commercial relationship between the Contributor and IT-COMM.
Consent remains effective unless and until withdrawn by the Contributor.
The Contributor may request withdrawal of consent at any time by contacting IT-COMM through its official communication channels.
Following receipt and verification of a withdrawal request, IT-COMM will cease new uses of the affected Submitted Materials and take reasonable steps to remove them from digital channels under its control, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention obligations.
Withdrawal does not retroactively invalidate publications or distributions made before the withdrawal request. Previously printed, distributed, archived, or independently shared materials may not be fully recoverable.
IT-COMM will process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws and its Privacy Policy.
Consent under this Policy authorizes publication only of the Submitted Materials covered by the Contributor's affirmative agreement. It does not authorize publication of unrelated personal information maintained by IT-COMM.
Sensitive personal information, payment information, government identification numbers, and other confidential information are excluded from this publication permission unless separately and expressly authorized where legally permissible.
Providing consent is voluntary. Declining consent will not affect an individual's membership status or access to general Association services, except where publication permission is reasonably necessary for a specific requested activity.
Consent is obtained through an affirmative action, such as selecting an unchecked checkbox. Silence, inactivity, or a preselected checkbox does not constitute consent.
By checking the consent box associated with this Policy, the Contributor confirms that they:
Have read and understood this Consent Policy.
Voluntarily authorize IT-COMM to use and publish the Submitted Materials for the purposes described.
Understand that published materials may be publicly accessible.
Acknowledge their right to withdraw consent for future uses, subject to the limitations described above.
This Policy should be made available through a clearly visible link adjacent to the consent checkbox. IT-COMM should retain a record of the Contributor's affirmative consent, including the date and the version of the Policy accepted.
